Are You Be My Friend

Back in Nov 09, we had a church fundraiser called A Taste of Africa for our friend Kathleen, who has just flown off to Germany to train and prepare for her one-year mission trip with OM South Africa.

The highlight of the evening was a performance by West African dancer Shabba, and among the songs he got us all drumming and shaking to had a tune that went like this (in solfege):

I just heard Jordanne singing the song - randomly, with no prompting from anyone - singing it pitch perfect and word perfect. Her musical intelligence just amazes me.
